Personal Mission Statement
Choosing Human Nutrition and Foods as a major has lead to myself having many opportunities to help people in the future. Helping people and giving advice has always been something that I enjoyed and I am excited to be able to do this after graduating. I have always been very goal-oriented and when I set my mind to something, I will make it happen. I have held a respectable GPA over 3.18 over my four years at West Virginia University. I have been asked to join the National Society of Collegiate Scholars among many other honor societies during my four years at West Virginia University. After achieving a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Foods, I hope to either get into graduate school to get my Master’s in Public Health or get an internship to become a Registered Dietitian. Both of these career goals will allow me to do what I ultimately think is most important, helping people. Being a student at West Virginia University has made me become a very hard-working and enthusiastic in the work I do. My dream ever since I was younger was to be in the medical field, and graduating in August will make that dream become one step closer.
